Oksigen dan Pernafasan

Respiration
- Respirasi is carried out by all living organism. This process takes place inside cell.
- Both animals and plants carry out respiration are needed oxygen during the process.
- Respiration provides the energy needed by the living organisms to growth and movement. During respiration, food is oxidised in cells and energy is released. 
- Respiration produces carbon dioxide, water vapour and energy.
- During respiration, carbohydrates such as glucose  are broken down by the use of oxygen.

Respirasi
- Respirasi dilakukan oleh semua organisma hidup. Proses ini berlaku di dalam sel.
- Kedua-dua haiwan dan tumbuhan menjalankan respirasi iaitu memerlukan oksigen. 
-Respirasi membekalkan tenagayang diperlukan oleh organisma hidup untuk pertumbuhan dan              pergerakan. Semasa respirasi, makanan dioksidakan di dalam sel dan tenaga dibebaskan.
- Respirasi menghasilkan karbon dioksida, wap air dan tenaga.
- Semasa respirasi, karbohidrat seperti glukosa dipecahkan oleholeh oksigen

Inhaled air and exhaled air / Udara sedut dan udara hembus

Inhaled air and exhaled air 
- Inhaled air ia the air taken into our lung when we  breathe in. it is the same as the air around us.
- Exhaled air is the air released from our lungs when we breathe out.
- The composition if inhaled and exhaled is different. A comparision as a table (on the left).
- Besides the change in composition, exhaled air is warmer than inhaled air because it comes out from our body. During respiration, there is release of energy. This because exhaled air to be same temperature as our body.
- Water vapour can be seen when we breathe onto a mirror. The water vapour condenses into water droplets on the mirror.
- Exhaled air is saturated with water vapour because water is one of the products of respiration.
- There is no change in the percentage of nitrogen and inert gases because they are not involved in respiration.

Udara Sedut dan Udara Hembus
- Udara sedut ialah udara yang dibawa masuk ke dalam peparu semasa kita menyedut nafas.
- Udara hembus ialah udara yang dibebaskan daripada peparu semasa kita menghembus nafas.
- Komposisi udara sedut dan udara hembus adalah berbeza. (sila rujuk jadual di atas).
- Selain perubahan komposisi, udara hembus adalah lebih hangat daripada udara sedut kerana ia berasal daripada tubuh badan. Suhu udara hembus adalah sama dengan suhu tubuh badan kita.
- Wap air boleh dilihat apabila kita menghembuskan nafas pada cermin. Wap air mengalami kondensasi menjadi titisan air.
- Udara hembus tepu dengan wap air kerana air adalah salah satu produk respirasi.
- Tiada sebarang perubahan dalam peratusan nitrogen dan gas-gas nadir kerana gas-gas ini tidak terlibat dalam respirasi.
